CyberAir's first delivered workshop: a five-day, multi-country capacity-building program that set the template for everything that followed.
In June 2025, CyberAir's founder organized and instructed a five-day Cybersecurity in Airport Operations workshop in Manila under CyberAir's public-private partnership with the U.S. Transportation Security Administration. The program was hosted for the Philippines' Office for Transportation Security (OTS), with a US-Australia-Canada-Philippines footprint and participation from Philippine government agencies and airlines.
Participating organizations included the Office for Transportation Security (OTS), Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA), the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation (NNIC), Clark International Airport Corporation, Cavitex Holdings, United Airlines, and Cebu Pacific Air — 34 participants completed post-workshop evaluations.

This workshop would not have been possible without the support of the U.S. Transportation Security Administration, including Steve Sciulli, TSA Aviation Security Advisor; John Beckius, TSA Representative; and Karen Dizon, TSA Program Analyst. The workshop was also honored by a keynote from Sami Khoury, then Head of the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security — widely referred to as Canada's “cyber czar” — whose remarks framed the week's discussions on shared cyber resilience across allied aviation systems.
